Utah and West Virginia Bans Removed

Almost 2 weeks ago, West Virginia became the 4th state in 2017 to propose a kratom ban. Thankfully, within a week of its proposal it got removed due to an amendment.

We want to say thank you to everyone who contacted the Health and Human Resources Committee responsible for overseeing the bill. This is proof that the people and science are on our side!

Thank you to the AKA for getting the work done in this state! Kratom was withdrawn from the HB 110 bill. Great work guys!

Utah Removed from Kratom Bill

There are not ONE but TWO lobby firms, from both the AKA and BEA. Rest assured, your voices are being heard and being heard by the right people.

To all the Floridians, thank you for all the letters you’ve sent.  The BEA gets an email copy of each letter and sheer volume of letters sent is very impressive. If you haven’t already, take 2 min to write one!

The bill has not yet moved and we are working with folks on the ground to educate the key decision makers.

In the mean time, please donate $5, $10 or $25 to the BEA so we can continue protecting FL and NY. Momentum is on our side so now is the time to up the donations!
